CLCNSW will be hosting the RRR Summit on Birpai Country in Port Macquarie from 22 – 24 July 2025.
The RRR Summit is a rare and exciting opportunity to unite Community Legal Centres (CLCs) operating in rural, regional, and remote (RRR) areas for a three-day, in-person event focused on professional development, knowledge exchange, and sector-wide collaboration.
The event will open with the Big Yarn Up, a dedicated gathering for the 80 First Nations staff throughout the sector. This day will focus on cultural self-care; the challenges surrounding Aboriginal employment in the sector and building stronger support networks. The second day will bring together CLCs from across the state to share their expertise and learn from each other. The final day will expand to include the broader legal assistance and service sector, promoting integrated approaches to legal service delivery in regional areas.
This Summit will provide a tailored environment for learning, sharing best practices, and fostering professional connections. It will explore the unique challenges faced by legal professionals working in RRR communities and encourage face-to-face interactions, which are often limited by geographical constraints.
We will be releasing a detailed program in the coming weeks, which includes:
Tuesday 22 July – Big Yarn Up for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander workers in CLCs
