Sector Sessions

On the first Tuesday of every month, Community Legal Centres NSW offers a one-hour training session to our members. The session topics range from legal areas, worker wellbeing, operations, strengthening sector collaboration, and law reform.

Upcoming Session

September Sector Session: Specialist Spotlight – Youth Law Australia

Join us on 1 September 2026, 12pm -1pm for this Specialist Spotlight session featuring Youth Law Australia (YLA), the national specialist community legal centre for children and young people under 25.

This session will give generalist community legal centres a practical understanding of YLA’s specialist expertise, service model, and the legal issues affecting young people.

Kim Richardson, Co-Principal Solicitor at YLA, will cover emerging trends, referral pathways, and opportunities for collaboration across casework, community legal education, and sector projects.

At the end of this session, you should have the information and resources to help your centre strengthen referrals, improve outcomes for young clients and build more effective partnerships.
