Our board

Community Legal Centres NSW is governed by talented and dedicated board members with experience across the community legal centre sector.

Ken is the Chair of the Community Legal Centres NSW Board since August 2024, and Principal Solicitor at Seniors Rights Centre since November 2022. Before Seniors Rights Service, Ken worked as a solicitor at Central Coast Community Legal Centre.

Robert has been on the Community Legal Centres NSW Board since 2017 and is the Deputy Chair. He is the Executive Officer of Macarthur Legal Centre, and he also works as an academic teaching criminal law and civil procedure. He says he has 'the best two jobs in the world'.

Brian is a solicitor with Seniors Rights Service. He has worked with DFAT, Federal Court of Australia, Youth Koori Court and Redfern Legal Centre’s Health Justice Partnership. Brian has a particular interest in First Nations justice and is passionate about social justice and equality.

Melanie is the CEO of Justice Support Centre since 2023. She has extensive experience as a CEO and director, spanning the not-for-profit, legal, corporate and banking sectors. Before joining Justice Support Centre, Melanie worked in international development.

Jonathon is the CEO of Public Interest Advocacy Centre. He has practised for over 25 years in NSW and the Northern Territory in areas including discrimination and human rights, migration and refugee law, Aboriginal land rights, criminal law, and coronial inquests.

Patrick is a Principal Solicitor at Western NSW Community Legal Centre. He is passionate about advocating for people experiencing disadvantage in regional and remote areas, and improving their rights to access justice.
